Web Service for Events:

This service starts with an pre-advertisement on the web that checks out interest and collects preliminary registrations. A hit counter provides welcome feed-back in this early stage.

As soon as interest, sponsor contracts, official permits, etc. ensure the event, announcement of the event. Depending on the nature of the event, a variety of features may be useful:

• detailled program or route information;
• travel information how to reach the meeting site or start location;
• online registration;
• automated registration confirmation by e-mail (example);
• display of up to date registration lists (example);
• e-mail messages to all registrants or groups of registrants;
• checksum protected links for online cancellations or data corrections by individual registrants (example);
• password protected link for data download or data corrections by the organizers;
• key word searches in the database by organizers only or also by registered participants, or even the general public.

During the event, QWD offers photographic documentation for control and proof purposes (e.g., passing of a control spot or display of sponsor material), but also for later use as advertising material, photo calender, CDs with a slide show or puzzle, and so on.
